Angela Berry is a Bay Area based multidisciplinary artist and archivist. Her work has been exhibited at The Ganza Art Lab, Tokyo; Eldfjallasafn / Volcano Museum, Stykkishólmur, Iceland; San Francisco Arts Commission; Minnesota Street Project, San Francisco; CTRL+SHFT, Oakland; WSOHOIDPS, San Diego; Slide Space 123 Gallery, Mills College, Oakland; Mass Gallery, Austin; Get This Gallery, Atlanta; Fort Gondo Compound for the Arts, St. Louis; Biggin Gallery, Auburn University, Auburn; Ogden Museum of Southern Art, New Orleans; Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans; Jonathan Ferrara Gallery, New Orleans and Vox Populi, Philadelphia among others. She is a former artist-member of the outdoor studio and installation space T-Lot and The Front collectives in New Orleans (2010 - 2015). Between 2011 - 2013 she served as a Curatorial Assistant and Visual Arts Coordinator at the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans and co-organized the Hand-In-Glove Conference with a group of local artists and representatives from independent arts spaces. Berry has taught at San Francisco State University, Pacific NW College of Art: Willamette University, San Francisco Art Institute, Sewanee: University of the South, Lewis & Clark College, and the California College of the Arts. She has received artist and research residencies at the Vermont Studio Center (2013), Vatnasafn / Library of Water (2017), and the Volcan Mountain Foundation (2018). She received an MFA in Fine Art (2016) and an MFA in Visual & Critical Studies from California College of the Arts (2017), where she was awarded the Bernard Osher Scholarship (2014 - 2017). Her work and curatorial collaborations have been reviewed in Art In America, Artforum, and Art Papers.
